Havasu Waterfalls and More

The Grand Canyon is one of the seven wonders of the world, and justifiably so! Its mile-deep vertical relief provides some of the most scenic and awe-inspiring views in the world. It’s also a geologic phenomenon unlike any other with over 2 billion years of geological history exposed by the powers of uplift and erosion.

It’s the geology of the Grand Canyon that creates, surprisingly, an array of seemingly impossible backcountry waterfalls that are seemingly as stunning as you’ll find anywhere. The most famous are the Havasupai Waterfalls (aka “Havasu Falls” or “Havasu Waterfalls”), know by many as “the heart of the Grand Canyon.” But it by no means ends there – the Havasu Waterfalls are just the start. Throughout the Grand Canyon are many more spectacular waterfalls that are only accessible by hiking, backpacking, or rafting.

The goal of this website is to give you the knowledge you need to decide whether to attempt to visit these places and if you do decide to go, the tools to make it happen. Whether you choose to visit these waterfalls on your own or as part of a guided waterfall tour (if you’re interested in increased comfort, convenience, safety, and enjoyment), you’ll be a step ahead of the game by using this site as a reference!

Havasupai Waterfalls

The most famous of the Grand Canyon’s waterfalls are known as the Havasupai Waterfalls or simply as Havasu Falls. Featuring 5 amazing waterfalls (the highest is over 200 feet tall), Havasupai is a bucket list trip that everyone should enjoy at least once.

Other Grand Canyon Waterfalls

While the Havasupai Waterfalls are arguably the most spectacular and most popular of the waterfalls in the Grand Canyon, there are other options. All of them require either backpacking or rafting into the Grand Canyon on multi-day excursions.
